Kahi Wrinkle Bounce, Cosrx All in One Snail Mucin Cream and Torriden Low Molecular Hyaluronic Soothing Cream: Hyped Korean Skincare That Didn’t Deliver to My Combination Skin
In 2025, the K-beauty craze continues to sweep the globe, and with it, a constant stream of hyped-up products promising miraculous results. Three products that caught my attention, and subsequently disappointed me, were the Kahi Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm, the Cosrx All in one Snail Mucin Cream, and the Torriden Dive-in Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Cream. This review details my experience with these popular items on my combination skin.
My Skin Type and Concerns
Before diving into the specifics, it's important to understand my skin type. I have combination skin: oily in my T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin) and normal to dry on my cheeks. My main concerns are occasional breakouts, uneven texture, and the occasional appearance of fine lines. I was hoping these products would address these issues, promising hydration, anti-aging benefits, and improved skin texture. I own a skincare business, so I try to test most of the products and give a genuine review to new users.
Product Breakdown and Review
Kahi Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm
The Kahi Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm is marketed as an all-in-one solution for wrinkles, offering hydration and a youthful glow. The initial texture is luxurious – a thick, balm-like consistency that melts into the skin. However, for my combination skin, it proved to be too rich and while I massaged it for about 5 minutes into my skin, it was not absorbed. It left my T-zone feeling excessively greasy and extremely dry around the mouth and chin. I had no breakouts however. That’s why I give it a star.

Cosrx Advanced Snail Mucin - All in one Cream.
The snail cream is a cult favorite, praised for its hydrating and soothing properties. I was excited to try this popular essence, expecting it to improve my skin's texture and reduce glow 😊. The texture is a slightly viscous cream that unfortunately for me didn’t absorb into my skin despite tapping it for a few minutes. I can only report dryness leaving patches like hyperpigmentation. I persisted for several weeks but my skin just got worse. Because I have some customers who got amazing results with the cream and others who did not, it’s hard to rate but I will give it a 2
Rating: 2/5 stars
Torriden Dive-in Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Cream
The Torriden Hyaluronic Acid Cream promises intense hydration with its low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. I’m a big believer in hyaluronic acid, and I had high hopes for this cream. The texture is lightweight and easily absorbed without leaving a sticky residue, which was a positive. However, it didn’t absorb into my skin despite using a good toner before and also tapping the cream into my skin for a few minutes. it didn’t provide the level of intense hydration I was hoping for, especially during winter periods. It didn’t significantly improve my skin texture or reduce my fine lines. Again no break outs, therefore a star.
Rating: 1/5 star.
Final Verdict
Overall, my experience with these three hyped Korean skincare products was underwhelming. While they were not entirely ineffective, they didn't live up to the hype for my combination skin. It's important to remember that skincare results are subjective and vary from person to person. While these products might work wonders for others, they simply weren't the right fit for my skin.
